Dr. Joseph King is a board-certified ophthalmologist who has several years of experience treating Vancouver LASIK and cataracts patients and helping them achieve stunning visual acuity that eliminates their dependence on glasses. Dr. King graduated with a degree in medicine from the University of British Columbia School of Medicine in Vancouver and completed his postgraduate education in Victoria, British Columbia. He performed specialty training in ophthalmology at Case Western Reserve University, St. Luke's Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio – where he served as Chief Resident. Upon completing his residency in ophthalmology, Dr. King received an additional year of specialized training in laser vision correction at the University of South Florida Eye Institute. He is considered a leader in the field of laser eye surgery and is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada. He is a member of many prestigious ophthalmological institutions, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons.
