Dr. Ashrafzadeh is an accomplished ophthalmologist who has helped numerous Stockton / Modesto cataracts and LASIK patients achieve clear vision without glasses. After earning his Doctor of Medicine degree from Boston University School of Medicine, Dr. Ashrafzadeh completed an internship at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center in Boston and an ophthalmology residency at Boston University. In order to advance his surgical skills, Dr. Ashrafzadeh also completed an advanced fellowship in cornea and refractive surgery at Tufts University / Ophthalmic Consultants of Boston.
As a testament to Dr. Ashrafzadeh's outstanding surgical record and dedication to providing impeccable patient care, he has earned memberships with many professional organizations, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive e Surgery and the California Medical Association. In addition, Dr. Ashrafzadeh has been invited to serve as a Visiting Assistant Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of California at Davis.

He is especially proud to use the advanced Atlas topographer for precise corneal mapping and Visante platform for detailed optical coherence tomography. By using these devices, Dr. Ashrafzadeh determines if an individual is a Stockton / Modesto LASIK candidate. In addition, Visante evaluations help Dr. Ashrafzadeh determine what type and level of correction is the most appropriate for each patient.
